Impossible that you heard this exact one but yes I used the midi from vgmusic for the melody etc.
Though the beats are mine and I edited some other stuff as well like the bassline, the original one sucked.
Making a remix isn't stealing btw.

i have the program but i don't know how to use it. it's not like im giving up bud i have no idea wherer to start. does this make it sound like super nintendo, because it kinda sounds like it, but higher sound card.

Modplug Tracker makes it sound like how you would like it to sound like. It can sound just like the best quality ever, some of the best music made on the Internet is made the same way, as far as I know. You just have to be experienced with implementing effects and whatnot. I do not know how to do anything like that though.

Heh, I have to use partially midi instruments because I cannot find instruments. Once I manage finding enough instruments, and I get to learn how to tweak them and add various effects and so, I hope to make much better music projects than I have so far, and longer projects and so too. =D

Try search for basic instruments online, perhaps start with a piano or bass or something like that. Click an open field and push a keyboard button. That is how I do it. You'll get it to work. Good luck. ^.^
